    Samus FTW :D. I love metroid games so this is a huge hype for me. Now is this going to be like a "SAMUS IN SONIC1' type of ordeal, or will there be metroid like levels be put in place?

    Samus in Sonic 1 will be released, then I'll use that framework to build an entire Metroid game and release the Samus in Sonic 1 source for others. At least if everything goes according to the roadmap.

    Don't know, but am I the only one who thinks that there's no point putting that in S1EE, since it's basically the same as Sonic 1 but with extended stuff in it? >_>

    EDIT: By "Sonic 1" I mean partially Sonic 1 SAGE.

    While I'm not a big fan of Metroid, I always love those XXXX in Sonic 1 kinds of hacks. I'm definitely looking forward to it. Will you program a custom Metroid badnik?

    Samus in Sonic 1 will be just that- Samus in Sonic 1. No custom badniks.

    Sonic 1 SAGE Edition was basically a proof-of-concept for the Retro Channel and according to the wiki, it is intended that the service will include more hacks when it is ready, although under an approval system. S1EE can have entirely different achievements you know.

    Well, I guess that the whole "context" thing brings that Angel Island + Sky Sanctuary hybrid to a whole new level. How did you get them to fit within palette limitations, anyways?

    Lots of dynamic stuff, swapping out palette, PLCs/art, depending on where the player is.

    The SSZ transition artwork is moved to the 2nd palette line, making it seamless

    Beautiful. Simply beautiful. A nice creative spin on an old boss that actually makes it challenging without revering to cheap tricks like cornering you or a screen fill move.

    Can't wait to see what you have in store.
