Vincent, I've converted the animations into PNGs with transparency Warning: The color black was changed to 7,7,7 to avoid transparency issues http://sanik.hacking-cult.org/MDANIMS.zip
Vincent, if you're going to do "Running full speed Sonic" you may want to look at this. Or not. http://www.spriters-resource.com/sega/soni...niccd/misc1.png It has a HD (for it's time) sprite of Sonic's 4 Full-speed running animation.
WIP -Need to fix the moving lower left part -Some more tweaking with the inner reflection EDIT: Upped the art on the DB!

Oops! I forgot to put that in rendering the agif! Anyway, that's the latest updated ver: (The total spindash frames number is 6!)
Is it just me, or would it seem better to have the spindash stationary, rather than shaking around like that? Do you think you could provide a sped-up version of the animation, because the way that is, it really doesn't seem like it should be like that.
I'll post up later a faster animation for this Please consider I've been forced to make it like the original, but I could also make an "alternate" version of it.
Does anyone know how long the spindash frames are in terms of the frame rate (I.e. are they one frame long, two frames, etc.)?
I just checked that, it's one frame per frame, in the [no shine][first kind of shine][no shine][second kind of shine]... etc form, so 60 frames per second. Different framerate for the smoke instead. edit, per Drex's post below: awesome :o
Well, that's alot better. One thing I can say is that the the bottom right section could be smaller. If you look, it seems to be sticking out more in comparison to the original.
I think that the blue spining highlight should have sharp corners, not rounded ones. It's your call, but try it out, I think you might like it more.
Thanks Drex, I had problems to speed up the gif! Which programs did you use? For SillyJonna I prepared a complete 4X Tails frameset as it saves the time in ripping it with the right colors: Tails FRAMSET
I finally started the spinning animation and it could be the most difficult one I've attempted to do so far. Anyway I'll have to cut it out from the "to-do list" sooner or later! :D
Microsoft GIF Animator - 1.0.0.101 http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/13212 Check for viruses and such as I am no good at that myself apparently.
Fuck that, just go get adobe image ready. It comes with photoshop. Best animated gif program when it comes to image quality.
