Well, today I finally got my May's paycheck (which was long overdue) AND a tax refund from 2007 (which was unexpected, I mean, I knew I paid too much taxes that year, but I completely lost hopes by now so yeah it was a nice surprise), which means I have some money I can potentially waste.

I guess they didn't have any official art guides for Super Sonic, if they ever existed to begin with.

I only know of one official Classic SS artwork:

I think they didn't make a lot of them.

4. Holy crap, it's 57.00 to ship two of these 12 inch statues. I want Normal Sonic to go next to my Super Sonic :(

WTF I take out one statue and it's only 25.00 shipping. I would I seriously be saving 7.00 by ordering them seperately? Seriously?

Never mind, apparently the Super Sonic is 32.00 to ship. They don't seem to give you any sort of shipping discount for combining items into one order.

I'll definately be buying one of these, hopefully one with the lights, but I'm not too picky. =P

Bought it. Also just became aware of an unrelated new Sonic bobble head by Funko that I will probably need to order in the future.

That looks wacky...but since it's by "Funko" and has the word "Wacky" on the box, I guess it's to be expected. :v: If nothing else it's certainly more affordable.

Do want badly.

..But look at those prices. Darn it.

Maybe it will go down? ..None of their statues have though. So I'll just weep in a corner while other people hold their statues.

I'm actually more inclined to get the regular one than the lit one. I imagine the illuminated 'sparks' look shit when they're not turned on; and I don't wanna be messing with batteries every few weeks.

I just wish my sense of aesthetics netted me a better-than-$20 saving.

But since they're only making 350 of the lighted ones, they'll probably become very collectible instantly (and profitable on eBay).

Except I don't want to buy it to sell it; I want it to sit on my desk and destroy my credibility. :specialed:

I've got the most perfect shelves for these statues now that I got a new TV that is better situated than my old one. So I'll have these there, lined up and looking all pretty.

Mostly non-Sonic-related, but I make cartoons.
That Super Sonic looks so cool. I was thinking of getting it, but I don't really have space for it. I'm currently in the middle of trying to get rid of a bunch of clutter in my room anyway.

This kind of bugs me about it:
His legs and feet seem to have an additional bone between them. The model from SA 2 does the same thing.

I'm guessing it plugs in.

Oh man I just ordered the light-up version. I feel on top of the world and like a total tool at the same time...

Still, that's one awesome model and I'm sure I'll manage to forgive myself in time. :v:

It could be to offer more stability to the legs, which are thin and easily prone to snapping at best. Something's got to carry the weight of the top half of the figure.

Anatomically, it's wrong, but structurally, it may be a necessity.
