Favourite invincibility theme

I forgot all about Chaotix....that's my New # 2. heh

It's a little longer which makes it more satisfying to listen to.

 

I thought everyone hated the Sonic 3 alone invinsibility because it was based on the replacement Sonic theme...

I'd have to say my favorite invinciblity theme is Son 3 alone.

And since I don't have a cellphone Ill say this. On my old computer. When I logged on, instead of getting the default windows start up music. My computer played the intro to S3K. And when I logged off. It played the S3K game over. I fucking loved it. Hell. You know what. Imma put that back on later on this week.

 

Mine plays the "SAY-GAAAA" sound at boot up and the warped out of the special stage sound effect on shut down. It's just been that way since 2001 and it carried over to this computer.

 

I don't have any ringtones on my mobile phone other than the ones that were there by default, I use some generic beep tone. Not like I'd ever get a call anyway, my cellphone is always off (I just have it with me for emergency calls or things like that). Fucking wireless modern technology.

 

Haha, don't hate me for saying this, but I kind of like the one from Sonic Rush Adventure.

 

...There's eight of them in Rush Adventure, all remixes of the stage music. =P Unless you're saying you like that concept.

 

My favorite in the 16-bits is Sonic 2, though. Basically the same as Sonic 1 except upgraded to sound better. I did not like the bass line to the Sonic 1 continue music very much.

 

I completely forgot on my old old laptop I would use the S3&K and Sonic 3D Blast Saturn level clear jingles when starting up and the Sonic 2 emerald chime when shutting down/hibernating....haha....I got lazy with my other laptops, but with this one, I find the Vista sounds too refreshing to get rind of. It's the first Windows OS I've encoutered that didn't have scary, deafening, or rude sounds.

 

I hated Sonic 3's invincibility.

Personally, I enjoy Sonic 1's invincibility theme, but that might just be because I've been conditioned to enjoy it (Lost *ALL* my games for the Genesis a while back, except Sonic 1. Sure, emulators, etc, but nothing beats holding an actual controller in my hands. Screw USB controllers, Sonic is SUPPOSED to be played with the genesis/mega drive controller. Anything else is just lies and heresy.)

As for the side discussion on ringtones: I've go the Sonic 2 level-completed music as my text notification and I have a pretty decent midi rendition of the US Sega CD 2.21 bios music as my ringtone. Shame that I never get to enjoy it fully.
