I am releasing this to demonstrate how program will work and to get comments about file definitions.

ESE Asm Level Editor Demo version

You can use objects images from ESE II v0.05, but the flipped images are not required for this version. Only Sonic 1 Object are not compatible with this versions (Now Sonic 1 use original tiles size).

The program come with templates files:

I want to know if definitions file are easy to understand.

    Suggestion are accepted.

Ex: Run program and open file Sonic1.def in folder Templates\Sonic1\Sonic1.def

Not bad, but it definitely needs a few extra features to be seriously useful:

    - Support for adding objects
    - Support for creating your own/editing existing 256x256/128x128 chunks
    - Support for creating your own/editing existing 16x16 blocks
    - Support for importing/editing art
    - Decent documentation, more descriptive errors =P

Speeding up the scrolling if you're using the arrow keys on your keyboard would be good ala SonED.

  4. Requests:
Left Click to place a tile
Right Click to copy a tile
Ctrl+Z for undo, Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo
    Some docmunetation
    Allow for writing to roms
