Man this looks awsome man. Phoebius I like the images in your sig. Look really good. I got 1 question how many levels are you having in the game ?

Else, as you see in Poebius's post, I changed my frist idea that was to implement new Sonic 1 classic levels; I especially wanted to make an Aquatic Ruins zone, an Ice Cap and a Lava Reef (or similar grotto) zone.

 

Not sure if I've already said this, but it keeps getting more and more promising...

 

That is seriously like, the most entertaining post ever.

I'm not sure if this project is exceptionally "original" as it's just the same old sonic that we love. Of course it's more than great, but 'original'? Hmm..

 

Are we allowed to make suggestions for Zone Names and other things? Well here goes. Since it will be divided into two different games why not give a nod to the Pokemon and Megaman Battle Network series by naming it something like "Sonic Red Emerald" and "Sonic Blue Emerald" or something like that. As for level names, you shouldn't leave them by their original names (especially a down right awesome project like this) maybe we can all pitch in for ideas??? Hmm... a name contest maybe? Nah, never mind, getting too ahead of myself. The game looks great though!

The whole point of this Sonic GBA is to stay away from new ideas/concepts!
Do you see sonic holding battle chips and summoning ShadowmanEXE?

In fact, basically, our goal is not to make two separate games; we will just make a cutted version for small linkers or slow internet connexions, but normally it should be played as a single game.

 

That's a pretty good idea. This project looks really cool, good luck making it!

 

This is a very promissing project. The control is really good. The game will have more playble characters?

When I select to skip level, the game freezes and Marina Madness music continues to play. And on the GHZ demo version, when I skip the level, depending the position I select this opnion, it jump to the next (or the same, didn?t checked well) in a dfferent position and some times stucked on the wall.

 

Brunni - if you wish to use my lives icon, go on ahead. Too bad you don't like my HUD that much - I actually fell in love with it and sorta completed it (see attached image).

You should consider adding both Hidden Palace's.

Ah, so these are the two infamous techies who made the GBA remake. I have to say, this is very impressive. Maybe I can enjoy it when my computer can run a GBA emulator.
