I think I may have found something very impotant by changing the last letter in the Game Genie debug code in Sonic 3. I think I changed it to a Y,T, or X or something. But I can't remember the code, someone please tell me!

It does something strange. Here's how I did it. I put in the code, went to Angel Island, scanned through my sprites, and I found a new sprite. It was a glowing red sphere. When placed it, it looked like an atom or something, with a bunch of smaller glowing red spheres circling it. I think after a few seconds it dissapeared, and the color of Sonic, the rings, and other parts of the level took on a pink/red hue.

After this incredibly strange event, something equally strange happened. I got a new sprite. It was a picture of Sonic surfing on water. He even had a board! If anyone has any information on this (or the debug code) I'd love to hear about it.

It's in the original debug. Press UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, UP, UP, UP, UP when Sonic jumps on the Sega logo, and you will hear a ring sound, then select Sound Test at the title screen, press A+START when selecting Angel Island.

    Or hack a save state. [12448] 01 01 01 01

Sonic Cult doesn't say squat about a glowing red sphere.
