It's only 42$ for all 78 episodes. You mofos better support this, as that's a super solid deal. I wanted this release back in 2004 when a 50 episode TV anime cost 200$ (or more).
Amazon will likely have it up at some point, so I'd just be patient. Not sure if this'll show up elsewhere.
I got until April to order it, although I'd imagine they would also like to see how those early pre-order numbers are looking like. Will mosdef be picking this up though. I just hope the video quality is better than the previous SD on BR release based on the comparison images I've seen.
Everything I've seen points to them doing the best with the source that's reasonably possible short of attempting things like full AI upscales. There's only so much we can do, and rarely have I seen diskotek get video wrong in a way that's there fault.
I honestly prefer Rightstuf in terms of ordering Discotek stuff than amazon. I don't like how amazon packages their blu-rays, RS does it way better. Also, RS get the blu-rays and ships them out ahead of street date. I've gotten plenty of Discotek blu-rays before the actual release date. Hell, their Kamen Rider Black blu-ray isn't supposed to be out until the end of this month, and I know people who ordered off RS and got it literally at the end of last month. So, I find better packaging and getting the product earlier a huge plus on Rightstuf's part.
Wow, shipping outside the US on this is not cheap from this store. I've placed a preorder but it was nearly the same price as the product...
If you're importing, I'd personally not use RS. I should have mentioned that. Their shipping is crazy when it comes to international prices. I'd wait for amazon to put it up if you want cheaper shipping, but that's up to you. EDIT: Also to anyone else pre-ordering. Rightstuf has a bullshit 3rd party package insurance that they have. It's not necessary. Customer service will replace your product. I only bring this up because, and get this, it's enabled by default. I don't know why. So as you check out, disable the insurance so you don't get charged more.

If you pre-ordered this on Rightstuf, it's now listed as in stock and should be shipping soon. Saw someone I know get a shipped notification for theirs.
It's funny, I was literally just thinking about this earlier and checked the website to remind myself of the estimated date and was confused when I couldn't find it. Then later I got the email that it shipped. Pretty nice.
Hope I get a partial shipment on mine. My order was for Sonic X, Urusei Yatsura TV Series Set 1, and Gunbuster. Gunbuster got delayed, and RS already shipped my Urusei Yatsura set. So either I get another partial shipment of this, or I have to wait for Gunbuster. Hope RS helps me out!
It won't take that long. I've ordered economy all the time and it always gets here in a timely manner. Unless I get the wrong USPS distribution center in my state and then it takes longer. But that's my 50/50 gamble and your mileage may vary!
Looks like mine will be here Wednesday, which means Wednesday I will be getting off work, speeding to the theater for Super Mario Bros., and then speeding home for however much Sonic X I can squeeze in before bed. That's gonna be a cool day. I'm really excited to watch through the original run again after so long.
