Did Sonic and Tails's ages change since Sonic Jam?

    interested in sonic and experimenting with disassemblies
    Sonic was 16 and Tails was 8.
    Has it changed since or are they still the same age.
    Also how could Tails carry Sonic

    Anyway, for the record and what very little it's worth, the fandom wiki states that Sonic and Tails are 15 and 8, respectively.

    Trying to be useful somehow.
    For all that matters, Tails can carry Sonic for the same reason that he has two tails spinning and don't knot themselves. It just works.

    Technically no, Sonic's age is "15-16" on the Japanese Jam profile and Tails was always 8.

    It's a franchise about a anthropomorphic hedgehog, logic doesn't need to exist. As for their ages, as far as I'm aware the only character who's age changed was Amy's.
