Cybernetic Outbreak Update/Release Thread.

    Nicely done. Just a note for people using Jump Spheres. jump Sphere's have 5 spheres between it and the destination.

    I had an awesome special stage. I was going to submit it. It was very tough, but not impossible. Blue balls crashed trying to save it.
    I am not a very happy chappy, after that last hour.

    Though it may not seem like it, this is a serious entry:

    Yep, good ol' Pac-Man. But there are some things to note:
    1) At intersections, there are blue spheres. Once you cross them, they make doubling back much harder. It becomes a real pain in the ass if you're shooting for a Perfect (which is a whopping 252 rings, a crazy difficult feat!)
    2) Unlike Pac-Man, Sonic can't quickly move in the opposite direction, he can only turn. Furthermore, you can't stop by hitting a wall, you'll just be bounced backwards!
    3) From the in-game perspective, you would not be able to easily tell that this is Pac-Man. In fact, you can't see the whole maze at once, so it's easy to get lost!

    Not ROMs, these are special stage binary files :P
    Unless someone is willing to write or port an editor to OSX, you might be out of luck.

    Nicely done this looks very intense to play. I will see if I can beat it.

    Also note: Some of the runner ups will make it in aswell as I need replacement for Stage 1 and possibly 4 since 4 was pretty whacked out though I will post a picture of stage 4 soon. Stage 5 is excellently hard and I am unsure if I should keep Stage 6.

    Sorry for the triple post. Massive progressive update. Redrew 90% of the needed art from AIZ2 to and placed it in my reconstructed Act 1 so unburning AIZ is going well.

    Sonic is still using the temp dark palette I made for him. I will be fixing it later on. All the art I needed from AIZ2 except for the S Tunnels which I have to redraw the main grass of to actually have detail before I put in. Other than that everything is pretty much done 8x8 and 16x16 wise. 128x128's are hard because of AIZ's design but I'm managing. I've also got a little twist planned on the miniboss. I'm rewriting it using the mappings and art it originally had but with a much harder intent and better movement since I've got movement processing routines for automatic creation to be a lot easier.
