could we have all been blinded?

    I'm sure all of you(or at least most of you) have seen that Sonic CD ending video with the ruins level...which we assume to be R-2, or some other deleted level.

    but what if, just what if, it's not a beta level?

    think about it...ruins...collapsing floors...robot with pinchers...

    and the one level that seems to be missing from both videos? Tidal Tempest.

    could that level actually be Tidal Tempest? it is sort of a ruins level, just filled with water. just like S2's Aquatic Ruins-the ruins of a city that is now flooded.
    and if memory serves, there's robots in the water that sorta resemble scorpions without tails, right? couldn't the bot in the video be one of these, leaping out of the water under a collapsing platform?

    but if it is TT, then why wasn't it in the normal ending video?

    Hmm...well, if you look closely enough, you can see that there's a machine overgrown with vines, I might need to remind you all that there are no machines in the present, the movie shows all levels are the present, but that theory sounds like a good one, so I never thought of that
