I'm not a big fan of Launch Base Zone but that was one of the most clean and organic sounding mash ups I've heard in some time. Bravo.
That's one of the most polished, professional sounding mashups I've ever heard. While I'm here, I'll leave this behind: Which sounds very shabby and unprofessional by comparison.
I made a mashup of "Door Into Summer" from Chaotix and "Space Jam". I posted it onto my Tumblr page because WMG blocked it on YouTube. http://iamarique.tumblr.com/post/20489523222/knuckles-chaotix-vs-quad-city-djs-door-into
That's really, really weird, considering there are so many Space Jam mashups on YT. Unless WMG is worried about Door Into Summer, which would be pretty ridiculous. Also here's another one I put out a few days ago.
That is Awesome. So very Unexpected. EDIT: I know this has been done to death, but this one deserves an honorable mention in my mind.
And now, Sonic Slamventure 2. The ending, especially. I should really check out the Generations hacking thread, 'cause I think an entire game with these remixes would be hilarious.
I'm still waiting for the Bruce Springsteen/Twinkle Park mash up. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. But check these two songs out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzvS_beXtXk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgEKLhvCCVA Not exacts, no. But I think Crystal Frost from Sonic Xtreme would mash up well with this Linkin Park song. What do you guys think?
DJYuzoBoy has done some FANTASTIC Sonic Mashup's with Michael Jackson Vocals. I like all of them. Especially Carnival Night Jam and Competition Zone Rocks My World
When my sister pointed out the similarity between these two songs to me, I just couldn't help myself:
Yes! I always thought this song sounded like Sky Chase! Honestly, I'm surprised no one's done this sooner, but it works fantastically! ^__^ Only thing I'd change about it is to dedicate the first half of Sky Chase's tune to the verses and the second half to the chorus and bridge, but I think it still works well as is.
I liked it a lot too-- did you consider just eliminating the Sky Chase entirely during the chorus? It sounds amazing and in sync outside of the chorus. Though I'm not bitching, I like it a lot, good work. :v:
That was gorgeous. Pinch Me was one of my favorites when I was a kid. I wonder if anyone's mashed up Mystic Cave and Make Some Noise. When I first heard the latter I started humming Mystic Cave to it, but I don't have the know-how to make such a thing happen. I haven't come across one yet, if it exists.
