OK, I made this some time ago when I was bored. I just changed five bytes. This is the standard Genesis BIOS, I just changed the word "SEGA" to use the "symbolled" versions (the unused characters) and changed the palette of them to make the color more blue. Download it if you feel like wanting a somewhat nicer BIOS :(

Yeah, that was the whole point of it, make it look nicer :P Now I'm making my own BIOS, so...

  4. Sorry to dig the topic out but at wich adress are the pallettes for the bios you made? I can't seem to find them.

I have an Idea how to make your bios even nicer and stuff

    • I write to CRAM directly because the palette is way small and it's just a test. There are just three palettes, all black except for color #1.
    • The BIOS is very early.
    • I made a huge mistake that makes some games crash (I forgotten to update A7 properly!). I better go and check if I can do the reset trick again...
    • Internal SRAM (64KB for now) is there, just not used.

  6. Ahh these pallettes. I found these while trying some Adresses in HivePal. So I have to try randomly to make other colors appear :)

Listen, I plan to make the BIOS look a lot better, add a background and such :P Now I'll work more on it (I hope the computer doesn't break up again this time), but I think I'll be more busy with Sonic 2gen.
