As you'll notice from the downtime over the past couple of hours, we've (mostly Saz) upgraded the board to IPB 2.1! All the mods from the past board are fully functional, and the skin has been ported over as well (new icons courtesy of Guess_Who). Needless to say, there's bound to be at least a few bugs. Make sure to bring them to our attention, since we can't spot everything. :P Hopefully this upgrade should make things easier for all of us, and the new features are certainly nifty (and the ACP is <3). Enjoy!
Where's the skin? The one that *doesn't* look like barf? Can we at least have the option to keep the default IPB 2.1 skin instead?
Are you serious? Super Sonic skin looked like a clown took a bottle of Ex Lax. And the default is boring lol
It's being ported in the near future. Plus, we already have the one that doesn't look like barf. Also, something I forgot to mention - Members can now change thier display name manually through the User CP. Limit is 10 times every 30 days - don't abuse it, or it will be removed. Note that this DOES NOT affect your login name -- that will remain the same.
While I'm sure that I'll need time to get used to this, I like some of the new features. I don't like how now you can't directly AIM people anymore, but it's just me. Nice work. edit: and a new avatar to celebrate. :D
Also, thanks for allowing display name changing. I've wanted to get away from ThunderSpeed name for a while now. I'll probably crawl back to it soon.
One problem is that the emeralds showing whether something is new or not stay lit up constantly now. Otherwise its great. I'll probably change my name at some point as well.
Yes. Simply yes. Also, a slight problem, you can't see where your cursor is on the "make a post" box. Seriously, this skin makes me literally sick. How soon are we going to get the port for the other skin?
Honestly though, that should go without saying. Abuse of this privelage will not be tolerated, and it will be removed if you show no regard for common sense while using them.
