Go over the loops, jump on the enemies and monitors on the way. That will give you the speed you're missing. The last loop before the corkscrew must be avoided.

I was hoping to expand the discussion. Draw interest in getting a new topic made (by someone with some authority, of course) for the parallels.

As for the possibility of 0:19, I have managed to skip the last loop before, but I doubt it's responsible for saving a full second. I could go find out how many frames it takes to go through a loop with high speed, and compare that to whatever the plus/minus is for the change in route required to get to the top of the loop, but I doubt it's +29, meaning that you'd need to save time earlier on...however, if this is done, the moving platforms will be off-cycle, and you won't arrive at a time that can take advantage of them! At the least, you'd end up wasting all saved time in an attempt to get them back into favorable position.

 

Since Mr. SadisticMsytic has so many time of Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Sonic 1 and etc. best times screenshots.. I say that one person should make a Best Sonic 3 and Knuckles times.. I mean like It is time that the Topic should be split into different ones for other Sonic Games.. Well there's my one and a half cents.. What do you think..?

I mean like I've had the idea since I put my first time here.. Then I did another one and another one and etc.. And I asked people if I could and they said Go Ahead.. But Then Since I'm a Trial Memebr.. I thought I would be wasting a post and also having the chance of people having no itnerest in it. And then I was like aww... scrap the idea.. Like it matters.. And look what happens now.. I am encouraging my own ideas again..

It's been 2 weeks without an update, and I know .hack//zero has read the topic at least once since then.

I beat that MCZ2 time. I think I could actually get 1:31, cause I got hit in that one and lost most of my rings. I'm gonna try for that later on. I only just scraped 1:32 though, heh.

 

Here's a list to shoot for, not necessarily all proven.

You've already been proven to have faked an 18. I'm calling almost certainty that it was re-edited with the knowledge used to disprove your original.

 

Please post a video of the 18-second record in order to redeem yourself and vaidate your claim.
