I have images this time so maybe you guys will stop wondering why he got so mad at people. It's because people are insanely cruel and racist! Who would have thought! Would you not be defensive if this was the shit you got in your mentions? Is this "being a dick" or is this "having to be mean because you get incredibly racist people coming at you all the time"? Here's the public post these came from. https://www.patreon.com/posts/every...source=twitter&utm_campaign=postshare_creator
Oooof, basically confirmed she lied by omission. I'm glad this has finally been sorted out but she could have avoided so much unnecessary drama. It's all very dissapointing. Guess that does validate that Jason Schreier is serious. The biggest problem with this is that it's definitely harming the discussion about voice actors getting screwed over their pay on so many instances. :/ As for me, I'll keep my preorder and I'm glad it actually benefited PlatinumGames in a ironic turn of events, since the game apparently ran out of stock on websites like Amazon.
I wouldn't go that far. It's not like this was a "women's issue". If anybody was considering it as such as a springboard for their criticism, they're probably just misogynists anyway.
You're right, it's definitely not. I just worry about those who would make it an issue (and they do exist somewhere out there). Best to just ignore such folk.
Well looks like Taylor is still digging herself further down and is asking people to donate their money to anti-abortion causes. https://kotaku.com/bayonetta-3-boycott-hellena-taylor-abortion-billboard-1849716807/amp Yikes… like now she’s almost tainting the 1st two games for me a bit lol
Hellena Taylor just repeatedly falling down stairs over the past couple weeks. Anyways, the game is out, and it's fun! I'm enjoying my time with it. My only gripe is performance, which is a problem with the Switch being 7 year old phone hardware. It almost never hits a consistent 60FPS. Here's hoping the Switch 2 or whatever lets Switch games make use of the extra horsepower and improves performance! Here's Digital Foundry's technical analysis with no spoilers.
This thread kinda just died. Is nobody else enjoying this? I've not played it yet, but I've spoiled myself on a few plot things and actually want to give it a try. I've always preferred parrying to dodging in action games so Viola sounds up my alley.
I've been playing it, albeit more slowly than I expected, but I can't help feeling weirdly mixed on it. The gameplay has some nice quality-of-life tweaks (fewer item freeze-frames, the neat loading void transition, fewer obnoxiously-hidden verses), but the changes to weapons and combat, while interesting and something I still want to git gud at, feel decidedly less Bayonetta to me. Weapons and demons aren't the same kind of fun mix-and-match that 1 and 2's hand and foot slots were, or even Astral Chain's weapon/legion combinations, and having to rebuy movesets for each weapon instead of unlocking a move universally puts a further damper on the fun of getting new toys. And to top it off, the story isn't what I was hoping for at all (and from what I've read, doesn't get better), so playing through it has been a bit of a slog. Though my decision to play on Hard with the auto-taunt item on probably isn't helping. At least Viola's theme is a total banger.
I'm still on the fence whether to buy it or not. Bayonetta deepened the bond to her allies and found some new ones as well. The feeling of loneliness is gone, or so it seems. I'd be lying if I said this wasn't part of the reason I cared for her in the first place. I feel like they rushed her character development a bit. But maybe that's just me. =P
