Archie Sonic Comic Megathread

I try to make the site reliable (although I haevn't touched it in a good while). The whole purpose was that people were saying left and right "monkey khan's goen because he's Penders!" "mina's gone because she's Penders!", so I decided to make lists to serve as reference in discussion.

There's been no official confirmation of anything, but the common theory right now is that any Archie character not made by Ian (or even made by Ian but too connected to something else like Edmund from the far future) is gone, likely since the event that seems to have eliminated Penders' contract also seems to have eliminated everyone else's at the time.

 

As I already stated before, Penders has already opened the legal floodgates since the lawsuit came to a settlement. It's most likely that she's gone as well, regardless of who created her (unless it's Flynn).

 

Damn... it really is like starting from a clean slate, then. It sucks that they had to do something that drastic and basically undo over ten years of story. =/ Here's hoping they can keep things running smoothly with all these changes.

Oh yes, and Sally's new look definitely looks better than I thought it would. I dunno why but it just... works. Or maybe I was influenced into liking it on account of the fans who said mean things about people who didn't like her new look... >.>

So far we can only guess. It seems it doesn't though, with the exception that disputed characters aren't shown on covers.

 

So, if I get this right, anyone who's not from the games (Satam aside) is crushed in the fabric of the collapsing realities?

 

Most likely.

 

But keep in mind its all just theories and talk atm. we know 100% sure that penders characters are phased out, but stuff like Scourge or Finevitous or whatever are still up for debate.

 

I would say that Finitevus is safe since Ken can't claim random background echidna #967765. But how useful is his when accomplishments revolve around fucking with Knuckles through shit he did to his family when they are all Ken's characters?

 

Guys got potentional to be a super baddie even without the echidna storyline backing him. remember he did have some kind of plan cooking with scourge's gang before Penders went a dun fuck'd up everything. something even if its not the original idea can come from that.

 

Doesn't even have to be random background echidna #967765. Remember what Robotnik said in reference to himself: "Even our molecular make-up was changed to match our new histories." For all we know, Finitevus has an entirely new backstory we can watch unfold, though hopefully they don't mimic Doctor Zachary any further then appearance if such is the case (revenge on other echidna and whatnot).
