I'd do the same thing as a kid, but I've completely forgotten it over the years. :specialed: Here I was thinking you guys found a new raft that nobody spotted before.
I've known about this for a while. Discovered it while playing on hardware ages ago. It sure blew my mind when I first did it, though.
Knew about this one - can't for the life of me remember if it's because I placed on in Debug Mode or because I found it legit, though.
Discovered it long ago, only because I used to have trouble actually crossing the swinging platforms :/
Known about it since the first time I played it Also, maybe my memory's cheating me but I'm sure the first time I played Mystic Cave Act 2, the second swinging platform glitched and detached like the ARZ and OOZ one does.
Yeah I can probably file that one alongside teleporting through a wall (with teleporter/spindash sfx) in Marble Zone!
:O Mind = Blown I always thought this was a punishment if you stayed on the platform too long or mistimed a jump (as overlord said) but I thought it was simply get up on the top ledge, or take the water path ... Didn't realise it was a raft. Wow. I love how these games still throw things at some of us after so long.
I knew about the one in Aquatic Ruins Zone. But you guys just blew my mind with Oil Ocean Zone. I had never seen that one.
Yeah I knew about this myself and I discovered it by mistake one day. xD I never take that path though, I always jump off the platform myself.
Never knew about it because I never messed up the timing of that platform. And you get the 50 rings necessary to turn into Super sonic before those platforms how?
Never knew about this before the thread. As others were, I was under the impression that there was only the upper and lower path in the intro of act 2, not a middle one as well. Seems that perhaps the developers thought of level gimmicks first, and designed layouts around them afterward. I can definitely see this being a neat piece of concept art that they thought would make the level more interesting to navigate, but when it came time to draw up the actual maps, it just didn't end up being used much. They at least went as far as to implement it, even if only once, unlike entirely cut concepts like buzz-bomber type enemies burning bridges down.
