An official name for Sonic 2's desert

It's all possible. But I think that Wood Zone being remade into Mushroom Hill Zone doesn't seem that possible - I don't know why, but I don't.

 

Well, if you can count the multi-thousand bushes in there, the mini-boss chopping wood and the zone boss trying to dodge trees, I think that's a possibility.

 

I haven't ventured some guesses, so here I go:

Sandbox of Doom Zone
Death Trap Zone
Sandy Zone
That Zone With Alot of Sand That Sonic Needs to Get Through <-- I like this one the most.

 

It's been said before about the possible link between Wood and Metropolis... so you never know :P

 

Those things were mostly random, since getting level select in S3 without an S2 cart is next to impossible...

 

Its obvious that the Sonic 3 Level Select was an afterthought at best.

 

Err, it's because these icons are classed in S2's level order. Nothing revealant.

I like "Neo Desert"... that's a cool one.

 

It could also be in two levels using the same art - she isn't specific enough to clarify it.

 

I have to say, the way she says it puts an Emerald Hill - Hill Top relationship.

 

But "It was designed to have a palette change" sounds SO much like it was part of one level! The fact is HAS a palette change, rather than her changing the palette, which would be the case if it was a separate zone.
