1) gold-colored Vampire Killer (JP version of Castlevania: Bloodlines) cart http://castlevaniadungeon.net/forums/index.php?topic=3001.0 tl;dr. not sure if any of the information there is valid (only two copies?) also listed on some Japanese collectors's websites 2) "Lethal Enforcers Famitsu Version" of the Mega CD version listed on some Japanese collectors's sites; no information other than hints that it was for a contest 3) "Fresh Cleaner" for Mega CD http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~fa2k-smz/megax04.htm I can't read that, and Google Translate doesn't help (broken English tl;dr), so IDK, but it has foxes and the page's author hilariously mis-transcribes it as "Flesh Cleamer" Also can someone translate this page as well? http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~fa2k-smz/megax06.html It has a link to something on ai-system.ne.jp for Go Net but Internet Archive hasn't saved that page and the current website doesn't appear to have that information. Either way, thanks.
http://blog.gamekult.com/blog/arnoloco/115592/Les+jeux+les+plus+rares+du+monde+Part+1+SEGA.html There were promotional ("Sample") versions of J. League Pro Striker 2, Gunstar Heroes, and Dynamite Headdy. the Gunstar Heroes one is dumped and I knew about the Dynamite Headdy one (but it's still undumped), but this J. League one is new to me. Also thanks to GDRI I now know what that ai-system thing is.
Sega of Japan's arcade maintenance subsidiary, Sega Logistics Service, made controllers way back when. Most of the ones I found by looking through old Sega of Japan press releases were old controllers for new systems: the Saturn Control Pad for PCs and PlayStation 2, the Virtua Stick for PC and PlayStation 2, and a version of the Neo-Geo Stick for PlayStation 2. I also found a PS2 wireless controller (????/slimer showed it to me on IRC and I found the press releases from there). I put the links to the press releases, which have pictures, in the article for the time being; I think you'll need to use Wayback Machine to see the stuff on SLS's site.
About the SLS stuff, I wrote something about it. http://segaretro.org/Wireless_Controller_Surf_Wave I have no clue if I can find enough to do the rest.
