I started making these a week ago, and I'm probably not going to touch these notes until after the new year. I figure that some people out there might be interested in some Chaotix hacking notes (be sure to read the comment in my profile on that :(), so here you go. It's not much, but it's something, especially considering that these are the first hacking notes that I've made, and I'm fairly inexperienced in ROM hacking.

And no one even say "try Sonic 2." :P I want to make notes, and not my own hacks. As of now, at least. Once the 'ol "creativity" portion of my brain gets going, I'll start worrying about making hacks then. Until then, I'm going to use what I can to forge into new territory (that's a tradition of mine, in a way; if you go and check the collections of some of Rare's N64 games over at vgmusic.com, you'll see a lot of tracks that have only been sequenced by one person: me). Just you wait until I have a good few hours to blow corrupting the savestates again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again. :P

Who knows? Maybe I'm just being a little too "thick" in this case, and I'll end up submitting myself to the "start" that is Sonic 2.

On another note, does anyone have a copy of the Sonic Advance 2 hacking guide? I'd be interested in having a look at it, but the site (or, rather, the server) where it's hosted doesn't work. Since I might be getting said game for Christmas, I think "interest" wouldn't be my only reason...
