In Topic: A little "idea" I had about where Sonic's speed comes from
27 January 2015 - 11:52 AM
Sonic has a horrific biological condition that mean his body is essentially overclocked. Every night, he has heart palpatations that wake him up whenever he tries to drift off, so he never sleeps soundly. He will die at age 21 because of how freakishly accelerated his body clock is. He adventures with a mutated fox changed by nuclear radiation and a steroid addicted echidna he met during one of his frequent visits to the hospital, fighting a clinically obese man in a floating wheelchair, because he has a deep-rooted fear of wasting the rest of his life and wants to take out his anguish on some of the few people with a shorter life expectancy than he does.
You're welcome. -
In Topic: RIP Chikao Otsuka (Japanese voice actor of Eggman)

It's a shame Chikao is gone. I never understood enough Japanese to switch the games to that language full time, but he was clearly a proliferous actor, and he clearly loved what he did.
Also, exactly ten years after Deem Bristow? Someone warn Mike Pollock. -

I like Orbot and Cubot a lot, so this episode was better than average. Not a storytelling feat by any stretch of the imagination, but mildly amusing most of the way through. -

In Topic: Sonic 4: Episode III cancelled according to Ken Balough
05 January 2015 - 03:24 PM
I'm kind of sad about this. On one hand, Sonic 4 as a whole was mediocre. On the other, it was more fun to play than Lost World, and I don't like stories without endings.
So I dunno. Mediocre is better than utter tripe.
