For anyone else who wants to attempt a Sonic 3 Hack and would like the Flying Battery Zone address's I have posted them here. Don't ask me how to fix the level because I still don't know how to do that yet.

Flying Battery Zone

I have decided to make a Sonic 3 hack with the not burned Angel Island Zone. One other bonus is I would like to replace Flying Battery Zone back to its original spot between Carnival Night and Icecap Zone. I read on a website that it is possible to replace by porting the level from Sonic and Knuckles. I need to know the level address for both Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles. The reason I want to do this is that there hardly any Sonic 3 hacks so I want to be someone to actually do one. -

This has nothing to do with my hack but I'm asking anyways. Now is it just me or are there no Sonic 3 Hacks around. This also goes for Sonic and Knuckles and Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Why are these games avoided so much in hacking. Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles are good stand alone games and Sonic 3 and Knuckles is even better. There is no real Sonic 3 Beta or deleted levels like with Sonic 2 but still it's just weird there are no Sonic 3 hacks. In opinion the Sonic 3 series (Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles and Sonic 3 and Knuckles) are great games and I don't see why it's not hacked ever. -
More Hacking Problems

I have figured out a few things like fixing the palette for Emerald hill after porting but I'm still having big problems. The biggest is collision and this is mainly because I don't know the address's for the levels and even if I find them I don't know what to type in. I did try the Hidden Palace Restore thing in the hacking archive area but when I played the rom nothing loaded it just stayed at a blank screen. My other big problem is the backrounds. When I port levels from other sonic hacks like Sonic 2 Delta the backgrounds for some reason move way up and at the bottom of the level the background cuts off to just black. All of the level editor's I have don't edit backgrounds so if you know of one please tell me. Something else I can't figure out is how to get all the lost levels(Hidden Palace, Wood, Genocide City, Dust Hill and Winter Hill) in the level select. The only program I have that lets me edit the level select is ESEII and there is no way to get it on there. My last problem for right now is I can't figure out how to restore the lost badnicks. These include the Dinobot, the Batbot, the Crocobot, the Tricerobot and the Snailbot. One other lost badnick I would like to recover is the silver piranhabot seen on this website in the lost sprites and tiles section(Although I don't know if this possible because no one even Esreal who discovered it has included this in there hack) but if someone knows how please tell me. Please don't think I'm a total idiot because I'm asking all these questions. I am very new to hacking and only recently started so I don't know much yet. Any help on these topics is greatly appriciated. -
Sonic 2 Level Porting Help

I was wondering if anyone could help me here. While working on my new project Sonic 2 Platinum Edition I tried porting level art from Icecap Zone in Sonic 3 for Winter Hill Zone using the level editor ESEII. Everything ported fine but for some reason it completly screwed up the Palette for Emerald Hill(It turned white and purple). Another problem I'm having is for some levels like Dust Hill I would port the graphics from the Sonic 2 Delta Hack by Esreal but the ground wouldn't be solid(Sonic would just keep falling like in Genocide City in Sonic 2 Beta). One last thing I want help with is getting objects in levels that don't have any like Hidden Palace Zone act 2 or any other Sonic 2 Beta level without having to change sprites already there. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks!
