Not much to say, I've been playing Sonic games since the age of 3, and I came to this site when I happened upon various videos of Sonic hacks on YouTube. This prompted me to check out this site and, fast forward about 6 months, I now have a Fusion36 ROMs folder filled with great Sonic hacks like Megamix and S Factor. I've been thinking of attempting my own small hack, but at the moment it is just an idea.

Thanks for the support guys, I really appreciate it! :)

That said, development for the SLZ Update officially started now with some ideas already in the making machine (this includes an "ERaZormized" Walking Bomb which I'll probably show off in some sort of teaser video). However, since I like to keep me distanced from rushing my work as much as possible, it'll take time (probably months) until it's done. Let it just be known that there's something coming.

I'm glad to know you're still working on this! Ever since I played the unfinished version Star Light Zone that you could get to from the level select in Version 2, I've been eager to see where you take that zone. Just wondering, are you planning on doing anything with Scrap Brain as well? I remember it being semi-playable in Version 2, but it'd randomly crash the emulator.

Dunno whether or not you all have seen this yet, but this hack is MegaGWolf's latest Showcase. He really seems to enjoy it.

I can see some potential in this hack. You use some pretty interesting ideas. I like the speed shoes timer and the single-use springs in particular. But yeah, the flaws that need to be fixed ASAP have already been covered by the others here, so I don't really need to restate them.

This hack is pretty damn impressive. I ended up ragequitting at Multiple Choice; you got really evil with some of the challenges :argh: .

I do have one complaint though. I have noticed some pretty annoying sound glitches occasionally (Fusion emulator, not sure if it happens with anything else). Occasionally when destroying a Badnik or if a platform crumbles, the sound effect gets distorted for a second or two. Nothing major, but annoying and somewhat ear-raping on occasion. Might be worth trying to fix.

EDIT: Guess I need to read the OP more thoroughly /facepalm.

It's hacks like this that keep drawing me back here. It's just a shame you're not working on it anymore, Markey. I really hope someone picks it up if that's the case. A hack as good as this one deserves to live on.
