    I want to say they both sample a common source, because in Windmill there's a second part with a different rhythm. It could be skillfully spliced to create new rhythms, but it sounds like natural strumming as far as I can tell.

    The sample in Ollie King contains no drums, and has two additional notes. It's possibly taken from another section of the original source, or another artist's rendition of the same song

    Shadow wasn't originally playable, right? He was the final boss, Terios. Then he became playable and stole some of Sonic's levels (ex: Sky Rail).

    That much I think is proven, so it's easy to extrapolate that it's the same for Tails and Rouge.

    I wonder, if this dub only boxset were released in like 11.0 surround sound or whatever, if that could lead to a fan edit with the original music.

    Just how good are these 4kids masters we're talking about?

    How about a recut of the English dub with original music?

    e: actually didn't the Japanese DVDs have separate tracks for voices, sfx, and music? All that remains is getting the VO stems from 4kids.
