I'm being disconnected from the internet
Okay, so I'm tired of this now.
Every time my monitor goes to sleep I'm disconnected from the internet. I've already gone to Computer Management > Network Adapters and turned off all checks in Power Management and restarted, but that just made it so that if my monitor goes to sleep I'm disconnected from the internet permanently until I restart the computer whereas by default I'm connected to the internet again after the monitor wakes up. Help? This is super annoying. -

How and when did this become a meme? Obviously no one was saying this when we were downloading RAW RealPlayer files way back when because it's the American version of Sonic X where this comes from. Even then though, no one was saying this.
So how and when did the American Sonic X intro gain such notoriety that it basically became a meme that defines the Sonic fanbase to those outside it? It certainly wasn't around when Sonic X was new or when Series 2 was airing. It just seems to be a thing that popped up years later after Sonic X was on nothing but reruns for the umpteenth time.
It wasn't in the games, it wasn't in the comics, it wasn't in any of the previous shows. Does anyone know why this phrase became so god damn popular to use?
I remember on CulT that I was the first one to post the full lyrics for this thing shortly before the American broadcast started. I think about that a lot. -
Magical Girls Festival announced for Vita

Featuring the girls of Yuru Yuri, Wake Up, Girls, and more.
Sega has announced Miracle Girls Festival, a tentatively titled PS Vita rhythm game that brings together the girls from a number of different anime, due out this winter in Japan.
The game's rhythm parts use the same engine as Sega's Project Diva games. Players will press the Circle, X, Triangle, and Square buttons in combination with the d-pad to match the on-screen indications.
As you match the button presses, the girls will dance on illuminated stages with big monitors and enthusiastic crowds.
Series slated to appear in the game include:
- Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Ars Nova
- Engaged to the Unidentified
- Go! Go! 575
- Kiniro Mosaic
- Nourin
- Nyaruko: Crawling with Love F
- Tesagure! Bukatsumono
- Vividred Operation
- Wake Up, Girls!
- Yuru Yuri

What will Sega Retro do about TV Series?
19 November 2014 - 10:17 PM
I know we make pages about movies that have been based on SEGA's stuff, but what about TV series?
I just finished up pages for basically all the Shining albums (sans Drama CDs) but there was also a Shining anime series that came out with an OST (That isn't in the template so I haven't tried to add it yet) and right now I'm working on the Virtua Fighter albums and that too had an animated series that came out with a soundtrack. I WOULD make pages for these but we don't even have pages about the TV series that are directly SEGA related like Valkyria Chronicles,(not to mention all the stuff SEGA is involved in apparently) but I wouldn't know how to even approach making pages for TV series.
So what do?
