I can't really list ten because I don't have many megadrive games. But apart from the Sonic games, my favorites are Decap Attack and Block Out. I also enjoyed the first two Streets of Rage games when I was younger, but I don't seem to be as interested in them now.

I agree with LocalH. A video of the computer starting up would be very helpful. Or at least detailed information about what appears on the screen and at what times.

Great work. This is seriously really fun, I've already played through it about four or five times in 20 minutes. There are only a few issues I have with it (and they're probably only because it's very early on in development and others have probably pointed them out already, but I'll mention them anyway): The spindash doesn't seem to give very much of a speed boost, and the level design could use some improvements (though it's not at all bad by any stretch of the imagination).
The music is really nice BTW. I'm assuming you took it from some megadrive game, but I dunno.

One more thing. I know you're not thinking about the music at the moment, and I know that I'm probably not right for the job, but I might be interested in writing music for this project if you wanted me to.

Anyway. This is a very promising project, I wish you good luck with it.

I have yet to even get past the intro.

Heh... same here. I actually bought the game, it's currently sitting on my shelf and has been for most of the past year. Partly because RPGs don't excite me much, and partly because it's not convenient for me to use my megadrive for various reasons. I might have given it more of a go if I were able to play it on an emulator. But oh well. The main reason I bought it was to support the development efforts.

I hadn't heard about this until just now. The graphics are really impressive, and the music is great too. I'd definitely buy this.
