Music placement in Sonic 2
20 March 2015 - 02:23 PM
So reviewing some of the music placement in Sonic 2 started to get me to question things. Clearly in the beta, 2P mystic cave zone was meant for Hidden palace zone. Fine, it works very well. 2P Casino night zone was meant for Oil Ocean zone, I'm cool with that. It sounds FAR better than Dust Hills music. That being said, Oil Oceans music was CLEARLY set for Dust Hill zone. Fine, it more than works for that. Hidden Palace's "Final" music seems to be meant more as a transitional, cut scene, or something like that. The demo tapes show it was the only track to have an actual end instead of a loop. I'll buy that. What I have a problem with is....2P Emerald Hill. Where the hell was that meant to go? Was it Wood Zones tune? It just doesn't fit to me. Any ideas? -
This has driven me nuts for years

What are those? Is it light peaking in from cracks? Or is it giant crystals? I'm starting to lean more towards crystals now that I've been attempting to sprite them. The structure makes more sense considering the darkness around them. -
Porting any Sonic Megadrive game to SNES
07 October 2014 - 11:15 AM
I had an argument with a coworker the other day about the Genesis and the SNES. Long story short, it got to the conversation about how games would play on the other console. I've seen plenty of games that were released for both Genesis and SNES. Question I have....has anyone ever actually attempted to port the game to the SNES? Sonic 1 2 or 3?
Genuinely curious how difficult it would be, or if possible at all. -
Got a new hard drive
25 December 2012 - 06:12 PM
So I got a SSD for christmas, and I'm curious to what the best approach is to installing it. Basically, can I copy my current harddrive that has the OS into this new one, and just format the old one? Will having HDD's in the computer as well slow boot up? I figured I'd as before I get home and try to go at it. -
Is there any actual functioning Xbox360/PS3 emulators (not emulators F

As above, just curious. Haven't done too much research, but was curious on the subject.
EDIT: Made the question more clear, not emulators FOR them, but actual emulators that emulate the 360/ps3
