Just a quick question, but do you have a rough idea of how many hours a day/week will need to be dedicated to any kind of training seminars you perform? My brother is due to graduate from university with a degree in various areas of computer programming, game design and such, and I know that not so long back he had started taking in interest in your engine and was playing about with it a bit to see what could be done with it. He was actually talking about taking up some kind of project once he finishes his course, so that he could try and break into a team and kickstart his career in the industry. I will obviously need to relay the information to him you've provided in this topic, but I have a feeling he would be very interested in taking part in this project.

I'm assuming it is the same one as at $5FE4 in the US ROM, however I am disassembling the EU ROM due to personal preference and having the ROM to hand, and the decompression routine in that starts at $6040. I'll have a look at the decompression routine for the Konami logo, which appears to be at $4A7C in the EU ROM.

I still think the English version sounds the most fitting of them all, but fuck, that German version was actually terrible. Sounded like a couple of tone deaf drunks trying to put words to music. Never heard anything so flat and monotone in my life, it's actually embarrassing.

I think he was banned from SSRG because he kept using a filter in each of his screenshots after the staff told him not to do it. He didn't listen and well got banned for it. :v:/>/>

Actually no, he was banned for multiple reasons. The main reason was that if anyone crticised his hack (which at the time was very poor) it would always end in a drama. Despite being told multiple times to post updates when he'd done something significant and decent, he would post an update about every minor thing, handle criticism badly and we were back to the drama. He wasn't the only person banned during that time, however the two major parties involved seem to have matured a lot since then and are welcome back. In fact, Darkon is a member of SSRG again and is like a completely different member.

I think I should be able to sort out the underwater clashing, as I'm pretty sure I used separate colours from the foreground colours to draw it. It's something I'd have to check though as I haven't looked at the art for a couple of weeks. Regarding unique tiles for the floor, is there anything you had in mind you thought would fit? I'm thinking of something along the lines of a marble effect as opposed to stone blocks, so I might see how that looks.
