  1. MegaCD Death

    14 August 2011 - 02:53 PM

I read somewhere that the problem could be due to dried out capacitors. The system will boot until just before the Sega logo appears, then it will freeze. Sometimes the period of time before the BIOS screen appearing and the boot up may vary.

Has anyone else had any other problems? I've tried googling around and checking out other posts, but I thought I'd ask you lot directly seeing as I'm sure alot of members own this add-on/system.

    Thanks.
  2. Help me retro, before I cry.

    01 July 2010 - 06:48 AM

So literally 10 minutes ago, my laptop decided not to boot. I've already replaced the hard-drive once, and rather than buying another one I've decided it's time for an upgrade.

I want to be able to:

    - Multi-task, quite heavily.
    - Run decent spec games, with small lag.

I have no knowledge of anything other than RAM, HD size and processor speed.

Help me please, find a laptop for under £600.

P.S My current computer was a Samsung R40

  3. Step Down Converters.

    11 February 2010 - 08:46 AM

I want to be able to run my Japanese Megadrive 2 on my PAL TV using the UK 240v mains.

    Question is:

Do I need something to convert the output of the console from NTSC-J to PAL?
And what type of converter will I need, links to ebay would be much appreciated. Thanks.
