    I got my first Megadrive with Sonic 1 for my fourth birthday (I think... Could have been fifth *shrugs*) and I remember clearly the first time I played it. I loved Sonic for some reason and my older brother suggested to my mother that they should get it for me... I'm real glad they did!
    I then bought Sonic 2 (from Woolworths, lulz )a few weeks later with birthday money; though it wasn't until I got my Sega Saturn until I played 3 and S&K...

    Very, very interesting topic!

    I remember many years ago now, I must have been about 9 or something, I used to surf the web for anything Sonic related and I found a webpage detailing the new Sonic game (Adventure 2).
    It had a load of early pictures which I've seen about in a few places since and the picture of the awesome black and white logo.
    The thing I remember though is sit stated the game's name was 'Sonic Adventure 2: The Shadow of Light' which I've never heard of since.
    I don't know if that was anything official, but I thought it was a darn cool name!

    Yeah, Knuckles can't climb in Sonic R. It's a blanket description of his abilities, not the ones he has in that game.

    Took me long enough, but I found my Sonic R Sega Saturn manual out and found the characters Descriptions page.
    It says that Knuckles "can climb up some vertical walls" and then in the list of controlls it says "Button B or the D-Pad UP/DOWN to climb up and down walls"
    All because of those words I wasted so much time trying to find those 'vertical walls' *shakes a fist at Travelers Tales*
    They could have at least taken that bit out of the manual to appease anal people like me! xD
