Well then, I figure it's probably SEGA's idea moreso than GameFreak's. I mean, doesn't the Wii U SDK even come with a Unity development kit for free? So, Nintendo is a SERIOUS supporter of that engine.

Guess we gotta make a Game Freak page on Sega Retro now. :v:/>

How odd that it isn't on the Wii U but everywhere else.

Well actually, it's only on PS4, PC, and Xbone. So I wonder if this is a case of them having developed it on PC first, and since PS4 and Bone are basically just that, then it was easy enough to do it. GameFreak isn't exactly the best developer when it comes to the technical aspects.

It's possible, but Unity is a very workable engine so I don't find it that surprising. I mean, there's a reason Nintendo includes it with every Wii U dev kit. But really, it doesn't really matter if it doesn't make it to 3DS if it's on every other possible platform, which seems like the team really wants to do once they get the PC version finished.

That's how kickstarter Projects tend to work anyway. PC is the easiest to get something out on at first, but since they're using Unity they can put it on anything else once they've got everything ironed out. I'll be backing this soon enough because, I mean, it's TJ&E.

It's even possible that it could be on 3DS, as that Spongebob HeroPants game seems to have been developed using Unity. As for Wii U, Unity is Nintendo's lead supported engine for independent developers.

If Assassin's Creed Unity is any indication, I wouldn't expect anything far beyond the realm of what we saw with Gens and Lost World. But hey, whatever next game comes out of Sonic Team will probably at least not have...whatever happened to this, happen to it. Seriously, the game was looking and running better in the E3 demo, which was running on actual Wii Us (with Dev firmware).

Edit: Also, great choice with the autoplay sound effect.
