  2. Sonic is appearing in a Japanese fghting card game

It's dangerous to go alone, so take this:

    http://www.siliconera.com/2010/10/14/segas...as-sonic-in-it/

It seems Sonic is a equipable weapon in this upcoming fighting game involving... cards... And what's-his-name can summon Sonic through a SEGA Wormhole if equipped and he can spin dash and jump into enemies. Sonic seems to suffering as a summon spell monster lately, as he was also summoned in Black Knight and everything. I wonder if he enters by landing on his face in this...?

It's... Interesting news. (/has never heard of this game before now)
  3. Sonic Shorts Volume 6

It's legit, and it's out now. The infamous Sonic Shorts Collection series just released it's 6 installment the same day the first version of Sonic 4 releases. I am about to watch it but based on how popular the series is, even being mentioned by SEGA themselves, shown at Sonic-related events, and such it deserved it's own topic. Leave impressions when done I guess?
  4. Future Mario & Sonic and sequel Sonic Heroes games confirmed?

A new interview with Mike Hayes, the president of SEGA of Europe and America (right?) went in an interview with CVG today, Anyways, it seems in the interview SEGA thinks Sonic is split up into 4 parts. First you have the Mario & Sonic component, which though strange I kinda' guess makes sense. He then says the other parts of Sonic are Sonic solo titles, like Unleashed, Secret Rings, and Sonic 4 I guess. Then there's the All-Star Titles, another weird inclusion but I guess it makes sense. Finally, he says something we haven't seen in a while, but team-centric games like Sonic Heroes.

SEGA says those are the four type of games they want to develop, but they don't want to overdo Sonic so they are laying them out separately and apart in a marketing strategy. He also hints that we may see something E3 and talks about the core of Sonic and finding it in Sonic 4 while delivering to hardcore fans in the DLC market since DLC games are usually more hardcore audiences and they can appeal more through that medium.

    Interesting, to say the least.
