Having issues with my Genesis and HDTV
18 November 2010 - 10:17 PM
Okay, so. A long time ago I got a Mk II Sega Genesis + Sega CD unit. Like, a really long time ago. Apart from some cart-reading issues (which can be fixed easily), the device works fine.
Except with the HDTV in my room.
While the unit runs fine, gameplay/graphic-wise, the sound almost never plays. Like, ever. At first I thought it was a problem with the cart (Sonic 1), but it didn't work with any other game either, including Sega CD games.
I've also got an older TV, which it works perfectly fine on. At first, I thought it had to do with the amount of white on the screen, because the title cards would play music fine but Sky Sanctuary (my first test) didn't work.
However, even on levels with almost no white reading on the screen, it didn't play any sound.
Is this just a compatibility error between the two, or is there any way for me to fix this? -
iTunes is fucking with my music purchases
15 August 2010 - 02:59 AM
Okay, so. Title says it all, really.
A few weeks ago, I bought "Katayoku no Tsubasa" off iTunes (yes, music from an anime some people say doesn't exist). I didn't transfer it over to my iPod Touch then. The next day, my laptop ended up dying. Three days later, I ended up getting a new one. Most of the stuff off my harddrive was saved (not including my iTunes stuff or games on Steam).
Cut to now. I just installed iTunes v.9, and all of the songs off my iPod Touch that I bought are showing up fine - except Katayoku, of course, because I never transferred it.
I went to check what available downloads I had for songs - and the weird thing is, iTunes reports that there are none. Katayoku isn't on my purchase list, nor is it somewhere on my laptop. Furthermore, the iTunes store reports that I have already purchased it - which makes sense, because I did - and it tells me to check for available downloads. Still nothing.
I can't get into iTunes support right now, so... Does anyone know what's going on or what I can do to fix it? Thanks.

My laptop isn't working
05 July 2010 - 03:38 PM
I'm posting from my home computer right now because my laptop - which I normally use - has suddenly stopped working correctly.
To be exact, it won't accept any mouse input at all, and, well, I dunno how to fix it.
It's a HP HDX 16 laptop running Windows 7 (x86). The error I'm getting with my mousepad is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". I've got a USB mouse, but now it won't accept any mouse input at all.
I called Future Shop (which is where I got it) to ask about it, but they said it could take up to 60 days to fix it - I need it fixed by this Friday because I'll be going away for two weeks, and since I'm kind of... co-dependent on my laptop.
So, um... Help please? -
I just got a hacked 360
05 May 2010 - 07:09 PM
A few weeks back I got an old 360 I found at a second-hand game store dropped off for J-Tagging. The guy finished it just today, so I went and picked it up.
Right after I realized I couldn't connect to Live without RRoD'ing, I called him up to ask what I was supposed to do to get stuff on it. He told me about something called "Xbox Kai", but I have no idea what that is, let alone how I use it.
I've never done anything like this before, so... Help please?
