I know I've posted about this stuff before but I believe that was in the members lounge area. Anyways, I was searching through some random files I had and happend to come across a directory marked "archives", it contained stuff on Sega Channel, technical specs, stuff about how the games would be transfered. I checked my site online and its actually on my site, I thought I had deleted the stuff... anywho, heres the link if anyone is interested in reading, includes pics of both the early and late models.

If this is already known, meh. Anyways, while I was playing Sonic 2 via SMC+ on the xbox, I encountered a bug. This bug being I kept falling through the floor at the end of a warp tube. I figured it was just a issue with the XBOX so I tried the same level on Gens and hit the same bug. With some experimenting I found it was because I was pressing the direction pad all the way through the tube, when I didn't hold the d-pad I was able to go through and continue. Anyone else have this problem?

Ok, here lies two videos I test recorded off XBOX. The test was to see if A. it would produce those annoying video resolution desync bars, which comes from recording a high resolution video(ie dvd) through a VCR and into the recording device, B. to test new sound settings I implemented in recording to prevent sound distortion.

So what these videos are are the in production version of the Sonic Heros intro video while still in production, the second is the final video that made it out to the public. The reasons for recording these was educational, educational for me because I'm learning how to record decent video on a low end computer(the computer they were recorded on, Project Tails, is a 550mhz machine, so I thought it would be increadibly bad), and educational for you guys because it shows the process inwhich a animated CG video is planed out, rough drafted, and finally finalized.

Truthfully there is one more video for the intro that I did not record, this was a slide show showing the storyboard art for the video. I figured it wasn't that important to record that because parts of the video are included in the In Production version. File sizes for the videos: In Production(13MB); Final(14MB). Ok, so its main purpose is PHP design/debuging, but I also found this program can design/debug VB, Java, and C# so I figured it could do well here since some of you guys make programs in one of those 3.

Features include a built in FTP Client and a view thingy for the HTML/XML/PHP stuff. It's freeware and is availale here.
