  1. In Topic: Does anyone else want a "Sonic R-2?"

    19 February 2014 - 01:41 PM

I loved Sonic R when I was about 6. I still play it every once in a while. Honestly, it was one of the worst racing games I've ever played. The controls were abysmal, the level design was awkward (there were only about 5 levels IIRC), the characters were completely unbalanced, and the music was hilariously campy.

Hell yeah, I'd love a sequel. :specialed:
  2. In Topic: Windows 8 is making gaming difficult

    09 December 2013 - 11:19 PM

    I fixed it.

My laptop said everything was up to date, but I decided to manually download the newest thing I could find anyway. I didn't bother testing it, because it was mostly out of desperation, and I figured it wouldn't work. But the next day I found that all my games worked perfectly again. For such a simple solution, you'd think I would have figured it out a lot earlier. :specialed:

    Thanks for the advice, guys.

My drivers are up to date.

I figured it was a compatibility with Windows 8. But I really have no idea...

I suppose we'll also be complaining about the barrel of doom not being removed once they get around to remaking Sonic 3.

Unleashed Wii more fun than Generations? Now I've heard it all.

Scratch that, still waiting for someone to claim that Black Knight is better. Don't let me down, Retro.

    No. We must go deeper.

Someone out there surely must like Sonic 06 more than Generations
