CSB Editing
06 March 2011 - 01:08 PM
CloudApp is being a pain, so I can't get screenshots.
So I've been trying to replace SONICDL_SNG_Z1A2.CSB in Sonic 4 for the iPhone, as part of my project. It's located in the SOUND folder in hog.app. I followed this guide to a T, but the WAVs I replace the original WAVs end up becoming short, 100byte pop sounds. I am trying to change "Synth_S4EP1_01_Z1A2_Normal_Mixed4816_wav" incase it helps. It also ends up having smaller files when I put the WAV files back to ADX files.
What am I doing wrong?

2GB Sandisk MicroSD shows up as 30.6mb
05 December 2010 - 09:38 PM
Found my old R4 card in the sofa earlier today, and I tried booting it up in my DS but I get a "SD/TF Card Error". I clean it off, place it in my PC and Windows says I need to format it. I'm like "lol ok" and press yes. It fails. I look and it says it's 31mb. I say "wat" and type in "diskmgmt.msc" in the find box. Disk Management says it's 30.6mb, and a healthy main partition. I clensed the micro SD again but get the same result. I see no signs of visible corrosion and the likes, so what's up? -

PSP dpad issue
18 September 2010 - 10:27 AM
So my psp I refurbished and intend to keep had a myriad of issues. I fixed every single one of them except when I put it back together, the psp dpad is off. Up down and left work great, but right seems screwed up. It seems to press against the screen edge. Sometimes it works, sometimes it sticks down, and sometimes it won't work. Usually the latter.
What'd I do wrong and how do I fix it? -
Help me choose a new phone
05 September 2010 - 11:57 AM
Alright, I have been the biggest iTard since I got my 3GS a while back (I'm even typing this post on it =P) and I was thinking of upgrading to the shiny new iPhone 4 for my birthday, what with the FaceTime and Retina display and all that nice stuff. My dad has one, and it's sick.
But this had me wondering: could anything top it? I don't believe the death grip of the 4 would be an issue (you have to be trying to drop a call to make it drop it) and I like the nice LED, but I realized apple is just gonna make something better and $200 next year.
I've been jailbroken so freedom is not really an issue.
However, somebody I know got me thinking about possible androids. Since my family is on AT&T (and I don't pay the bills) my phone would have to be on AT&T. I have come to the conclusion that the Samsung Galaxy S (the captivate is what the AT&T version is) might be my best bet, but I'm not sure.
Basically, what I want from a next phone is:
Flash content
Good browser
Game functionality (psx4droid?)
Good 720p camera with video (and maybe flash led?)
AT&T
Custimazation
Bearble email
Good text entry
Of a decent price (for a smartphone)
This has me leaning towards the Captivate, but I'm not entirely sure. Maybe the iPhone 4?
Retro, what phone should I get? I'll be getting whatever phone it is in October.
