Topics I've Started

  1. Happy 15th Birthday Sonic Crackers

    01 April 2009 - 09:29 PM

I made this topic before, but it was during the blast to the past April Fools bonanza, so I figured I may as well repost it now that everything's back to serious business.

Yup, it's been fifteen years today since Crackers was first made (Based on the build). Although I wasn't around back then, I've still seen what old theories went around about it. From a joke by Sega due to the build date, to the game being a hoax made by someone. There was also the talk about the "Sonic Studium" name.

Let us not forget Jun Senoue's classic "CRACKERS?!" reaction either.

And although it was speculated to be so, concrete evidence of what Sonic Crackers was really came forth in the form of an early (And very buggy) prototype of Knuckles' Chaotix, courtesy of drx.

Fifteen years...a long time for this proto. So let's hear it for Sonic Crackers. Happy birthday!
