- Writing Sonic fanfiction, horribly. I attribute this largely to my inablity to code, thereby forcing me to resort to more primitive, text-based means of getting my Sonic scenarios across.<br />Or maybe I just like writing.

Sonic Chronicles - Those 4 Secret Chao
16 April 2010 - 11:34 PM
Not everyone liked Sonic Chronicles, but I certainly did. Anyway, in the course of the game one could collect chao as equippable items for use in battle. There were 40 different types that could be found in the game, from Barbo to Zimba, and each of them did something different (and usually useless) to your stats.
There were at times tantalising rumors around the Intarwebz that there were actually 44 chao, not 40 - the extra 4 being, in true rip-off-Pokemon manner, ones that could only be obtained from IRL events. Supposedly, these were "viral" chao; trading left the original chao AND generated a new one on the partner's cart.
For whatever reason (poor event organization, the fact that no Chronicles players have any friends), these chao were never really seen, nor did they progress much beyond a shady rumour like some sort of vastly-less-popular SS Anne truck Mew...
...until now?

Crude efforts with Google Translate evoke:
QUOTESecret using the command, and get the Shikurettochao!
When you enter commands quickly in Chaogaden secret, you can get Shikurettochao.
Their ability is in the bag from fun!
Anyone more versed in Eastern moonspeak able to figure out if this is some cheat code for getting the extra chao? And if so, is it applicable to Western versions of TDB?
EDIT: 'cos I can't spell
