Sonic and Sega Retro Message Board: Dr. Mecha - Viewing Profile - Sonic and Sega Retro Message Board

I was browsing through /co/'s Archie Comic Marathon when I came across this gem. It's strangely similar to Sonic Adventures for the Dreamcast as far as ancient echidna civilization goes (except for a slime moster wreck the shit out of it); but, Wikia have a bad habit of misinformation from 13 year olds, so could you guy confirm is ANY of this were legit.

Since my Game is on hold in order to get the IP sorted out, I took my time to rip some sprites/palette off of Knuckles Chaotix using SonED2, Chaotix Art Editor (1207 version) and the Chaotix Art and Palette viewer (link Broken). I would post it in the Chaotix Hacking topic, but it was locked.

I could NOT for the life of me find a proper palette for this one, but it's in the same art location as MSK's.

Since the SA2 topic got constantly get derailled by such a subject, I desided to redirect all post here.

We all agree that Sonic was made with America in mind, but Sega of America was weary that it would be successful since he's not Extreme enough; Hence why they modified the story, the artwork, and even gave Eggman a full name "Dr. Ivo Robotnik". But the question that we all been wondering is that actually necessary? Sure the Gameplay is solid, but is it enough to bring in some profits? Some of the games where great in reviews, but bombed in sells.

How the fuck did that happened is beyond me.
