Hey everyone, my Saturn recently died and I've been up in arms about how to progress as I have a few games on my backlog I still want to play.

I mostly use a Chromebook these days as my work computer, but I'm considering buying a Windows laptop so that I can rip and play (and the portability would be a major bonus). However, I'm having a difficult time figuring out what matters most when trying to run SSF and Yabause. A major sticking point is that I want the games to run full speed at 60 fps.

Seeing as I won't do any gaming on it beyond for my Saturn (and anything below), I don't want to overspend either. I don't know if a "gaming" laptop is necessary (though I know the Saturn emulators require a surprising amount of horsepower), so I'm hoping I can spend well under that range. So if anyone with some better knowledge and experience could point me in the right direction or recommend some specific laptops for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

ALright, I'll make this brief. I checked this four times on Sonic 3 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and it all works the same. In the second part of Act 1 (after the fire is started), you can go down the hole near the start then left and jump on the spring into the Special Stage Ring. Play the special stage, die, mess-up, win, whatever. Any way you do it, when you come back out, the Act 2 music is playing instead of the Act 1 music which was playing before.

My question is, why does this happen? Why does the Act 1 music continue to play and if you enter the first special stage (behind the rock) the act 1 music remains? This is aimed at one of you programmer/hacker characters that understands the insides of the game.

Vote for which Zone had the best music overall, this means you are voting for BOTH tunes/versions. Another poll will be given to decide the act. Will be declared over saturday night 6:00 eastern, or if a song takes an extreme lead.

If you vote for Wing Fortress / Death Egg, specify which. Sorry about the whole secret ballot thing. =/

EDIT: Well, due to all of the music topic recentley, I said, "hey, I wonder what Sonic Zone song, in people's opinions is the best one?" So, through the wonders of the Poll ability, we will find out. I will have five categories: Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 , Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic 3D Blast. In speaking of how we will do 3, S and K, and 3D blast because each act has different music, there will be a seperate poll where you will vote for either act 1 or act 2 of the most chosen Zone. Of course, after all ofm this, everyone will vote for the top 5 in final deathmatch poll. :-P. So, yay. I won't bomabrd you with polls, I am only opening two. One for Sonic 2 aswell as 1. (My grammar sucks tonight, and well, I'm sorry.)
