I only used unofficial Nintendo Gamecube controllers because that's the only way to get colors Nintendo doesn't make. Yeah I have a weird habit. They work fine though.
Anyway, I would imagine companies have more of a problem with bootlegged game rather than accessories made by a 3rd party. -

In my specific case, I let the peeps running SEGA's Twitter page know. But even if in your case the seller is UK based, SEGA Twitter staff do have contact with UK's branch as far as I know. They're pretty quick in responding. -

Just in case you didn't know, you are not obligated to ship back counterfeit merchandise in order to get your refund. I have received refunds a few times in bootleg related auctions before. Granted eBay had to step in becausE SOME people don't like to own up to breaking eBay policies. My most difficult case was with the guy who was selling Sonic 10th anniversary wineglass replicas. I won out in the end though... After alerting SEGA of his shenanigans.
But yes, bootleggers are not within their rights to make you send something fake back to them. EBay actually advises that all bootlegs to be disposed of. -

*tears up a little bit*
Very nice indeed.
This.
It's so heartwarming seeing that. Just appreciate it for what it is and be happy for the kid.
That photo is so adorable!
This kind of news should happen more often, rather than some 13 year old playing Sonic Colors theme off keyed on a piano or a Sonic chess set on eBay that has been in the market for nearly a year.

Many pants were soiled today.
I'll take back everything horrible I said about SEGA back in the '90's back when I was a mini SatAM Elitist if SEGA would allow Jazwares to make figures of the Freedom Fighters/Archie exclusives Q_Q
Regardless, Jazwares might as well have access to all of my bank accounts.
