CONFIRMED: Sega doesn't give a damn anymore.
I had suspected that a good deal of the quality control issues had to do with Sega of Japan, but this blows it wide open.
Apparently, these issues are no longer just an opinion. I am extremely disappointed, let's hope that this gets around and Sega realizes how pissed people are. -
