Sonic Heroes PC Save (100% Complete)
14 October 2012 - 09:36 PM
I'm really not sure why I bothered to do this, but after several years of owning this port, I finally managed to 100% everything in Sonic Heroes (A-Rank All Missions, All Emblems, and Clear Super Hard Mode). I've noticed however that no complete save files for the PC port seem to exist anywhere on the internet, so my present from me to all of you is an upload of my save file that you can use to your heart's content if you feel like 'torturing yourself' with the game and its Super Hard Mode which took me 2 and a half hours to complete.

Sonic 4: Episode 1 (1:1 rendering hack?)
18 July 2012 - 06:13 PM
Alright, so we're all aware that Sonic 4: Episode 2 got a patch sometime ago that enabled 1:1 rendering so it would play more efficiently at lower resolutions and look better at resolutions higher then 720p. I find it sad that Episode Metal can play at a constant 60 fps now and yet Episode 1 still struggles to even play at 40 fps most of the time at an even lower resolution than Episode Metal because of downscaling. No patch has been made for Episode 1 to accommodate the 1:1 rendering and that bothers me.
I know Episode 1 is considered to be crappy as is, but I'd at least like it to play better on my crappy laptop after spending those $10 on the steam version. The solution of "getting a better computer" is out of the question right now, so I'm asking if someone knows how to modify Episode 1 to do what was done to Episode 2's coding to help "patch" Episode 1 or at least released the modified code so this is issue can be over and done with.
