In Topic: Sonic 2 (2013 - iOS/Android) Post-Release Bugs/Fixes/Suggestions

Has anyone had issues with playing the Sonic 2 which is pre-installed on new Amazon Fire TVs? If I pass the signpost as Super Sonic on any level, the game kicks me out back to the Amazon Fire TV "dashboard" where you select games. Most boss levels seem to be ok with it though. There have been other times that issue happened when I wasn't even Super Sonic, like upon clearing Hidden Palace Zone right after jumping on the capsule.
Also I want to say the new way the Special Stages behave is very disorienting. I managed to clear them all but it was very frustrating sometimes not being able to see the upcoming rings as well as I could in the original version. They look really cool, yes but they just don't seem to play as well. -

Sorry, I didn't see the bug fix topics. I find it strange that people are saying they can't find Sonic 4 on Android devices because I saw both episodes downloadble on the Amazon Fire TV. -

Fans made use of her scepter in this game:

Check out the level that starts at 3:49 in the video. They have her using her scepter to shoot projectiles to pop the balloons which is one of the level goals. This is the first fangame I have seen use Tiara at all. Not bad for Sonic Adventure/Sonic Heroes style models. If only the game controlled as well as it looks. I downloaded and tried it. The controls are pretty wonky most of the time.

Knuckles has a similar .gif that shows overhead maze-like gameplay, which leads me to believe that each character would have had a different gameplay perspective.
I had read about that, and honestly, it feels like a silly way to treat a character. It pretty much feels like "This character runs only in a straight line, and this other character pretty much goes wherever he wants to go". Something like that should be saved for a different game, not a different character, that's just... dumb.
I heard the existing video of Tiara was actually from part of the 32X stage of this game's development. Not sure if that is true though. From the graphics it seems likely. -

This list would say otherwise:
http://en.wikipedia....e_with_Xbox_360
That list doesn't even show all the Xbox games that aren't emulated period. Where's X-Men Legends II then?
EDIT: It says about 51% of the library is emulated. But that's when you combine all regions together. Some regions are incompatible with some games while others are not. Example, the only version of X-Men Legends (1) that will work is the Japanese version. -

I'm not sure about that. Previous experience with Open Source Sonic projects and collaborations tended to have even less progress than closed source projects.
'Everyone' contributing to something because its open source is wishful thinking and its rarely the norm. I'd very much like to be wrong about this

Plus we've established distributing x-treme's source is against the creator's wishes. I hope they keep being respected.
I have something to add on this point. Have you ever tried the 3D fan game Sonic World? (Not to be confused with Sonic Worlds.) Sonic World has community created levels you can insert into the game similar to MUGEN. The problem is that while there are decent levels out there released in packs, there are also very many bad to unplayable levels among them. Some will run fine on an i3 core running Windows 7. Others require much more powerful hardware to not be unplayable and full of lag. Either that or the programming is so bad that the computer speed won't make a difference. The levels that come pre-installed with the game download run perfectly but are not all that good.
It just goes to show that when projects are left open for anybody to design things for, the quality control goes out the window. The only way to differentiate the good custom pieces from the bad is to physically try every one out individually.
