Why does Eggman destroy the badniks guarding his Hidden Base in SA2's Sand Ocean, and for that matter why do they attack him? Also, why is everything G.U.N.-branded if they are anti-Eggman?

Interesting question: thank you for it. Also, welcome to Retro :v:

I personally think Dark Sonic's got it spot on, there's no need to pretend hardware restrictions are in place just to have a retro feel. Sonics 1-3K, CD and even 3D and Knuckles' Chaotix to some extent were all about pushing the boundaries of what could be done on the Mega Drive/Mega-CD/32X, it'd be against that philosophy to implement forced 'restraints' on a Sonic 4 game. That doesn't necessarily mean we need a Shadow/Sonic '06 clusterfuck - rather just natural progression.

I hope all that made sense...

Brighton? Well that was certainly unexpected, and might be more of an issue than London (post-move) might have been, but I can see what I can do.

+1 to the Hotel Retro idea too :v:

I think it could be a condensed version of this.

Now that I'm going back to a steady shift pattern I might be able to plan this in advance. You know, as soon as they've set a date for it.

It's gonna be July the 7th, apparently.

Assuming I can get tickets, I'm more than up for this!
