My friend has one. For being so tiny and cheap looking it's actually not all that bad.
I wouldn't get one for myself though. I like my REAL laptop. -

Well now that there's a plugin for Adobe Bridge, you don't have to worry about Nikon RAW files not being supported =D
Um... I haven't used many DSLR cameras and I'm still on my hunt for the perfect affordable one....but I HAVE used an old Nikon and a fancy new Canon Rebel....still gunna kill my friend for ever calling it shit.... The one problem with the canon rebel was the ISO...after reading the manual from cover to cover THREE times I couldn't find how to change the ISO so it's stuck at 100 which is really only good for taking pictures outside on a very bright sunny day. (higher ISO = more light sensitivity but grainier/noisier photographs)
As with point and shoots, more megapixels is better.... quality adjustability is also a WONDERFUL feature on both.
There are some horrible companies out there that make DSLR cameras that don't take any sort of SD card. This is the evilest thing you can do. Having to install a camera instead of just taking the SD card and shoving it into the computer you want to print from (since it might not always be your own...) is an extreme inconvenience.... I don't care if the cameras are cheaper that way...it's a dick move.
Um...obvious tip: serious photographers need SLRs....amateurs looking for a camera to use on vacation need point and shoots. :3 -

Rave, on Sep 14 2008, 01:17 PM, said:And yeah, shaky lines are almost unavoidable when you're working on a pen tablet.
.....wha..?
A pen tablet is like drawing with a pencil as opposed to drawing with a bar of soap like a mouse feels like.... If you're lines are shaky with a pen tablet, then you just have a shaky hand, do not blame the hardware. I have a tablet, mind you....and honestly my lines got a lot smoother when I got it because it's worlds easier to work with....if it wasn't I don't think anyone would have bothered inventing them.
Honestly this comment reminded me of this one girl...I asked her why she had green eyebrows (drawn on with crayola marker) and she said, "Because I have natural red hair." I stared at her for a moment in utter disbelief...If natural red hair requires you to draw your eyebrows on with marker then why aren't MY eyebrows green?
Think people....think.
sorry for ranting...that stuff just bothers me x.x
anyway... that's a very indepth description of how you want your game to work and it doesn't seem like it'd be an insanely hard thing to program either. though I've never played mario galaxy, it reminds me of that. -

I really like the first sprite and the background...they're just amazing...
The first drawing is cute, the next two images are broken and the midna and link one is cute though the lines are really really shaky.
