  1. In Topic: RIP Christine Cavanaugh

This thread didn't even catch my eye beyond noting that we're not supposed to have these. It took a random post on Tumblr for me to notice.

She was in a good number of cartoons I watched as a kid. Dying at 51 has to suck.

I can't imagine they'd resist pre-made DLC. That's just money on the table waiting for them, and it's already themed for the most profitable season for games.

My only exposure to NiGHTS was through the Wii version. That and Twilight Princess were the only games I refused to sell when I was selling a ton for extra cash. They're still the only two Wii games I own. Point is I really liked it, so I'll be interested in playing this.

But will it have the Christmas version? :v:
  4. In Topic: SWTOR runs like shit, doubling my RAM, is it enough?

For what it's worth doubling my RAM actually worked.
  5. In Topic: DSi repair question

    12 January 2012 - 11:13 PM

So close! I forgot to mention my brother bought this used, so it's a miracle the previous owner didn't already register it. The problem is, in order to fully register it and get the extra 90 days, I need to link it with my Club Nintendo account using its WiFi. I'll look deeper and try to see if I can get the 90 without doing that (what if I'm a customer that doesn't use WiFi? Am I SOL?), but for now I'm might be screwed again.

It's apparently a 4 set process, but it looks like those 4 steps are to get you the 160 coins the system is worth. Step one is listed as "registered for extra 90 days" and it has a check mark, and under my products page it lists my DSi without any special "unfinished registration" label, so it appears the 90 days should already be added. Perhaps it takes a little bit for it to finalize (because on the repair page, when it looks up the serial number it still says it's gonna cost $75), but I'm not sure how long I should wait.

EDIT: Nevermind. I just read what the bonus 90 days actually is, and it only applies if you're still in the original warranty. It's an additional 90 days, not a free 90 days. Still, I posted on the Nintendo forums (before I actually found that out), so maybe I'll get lucky.
