This looks pretty slick. I haven't played the game for years now, but I remember being blown away by how smoothly it ran. I own the PAL version and I remember the stark contrast when using 60Hz instead of 50Hz, especially in the first level (the one with the beach).

So, was it locked to 30fps peak or was Sonic Adventure framerate unlocked, but rarely hit the 60fps mark? How much did 50Hz affect the overall experience?

My deepest condolences to you and your family Andrew. This is truly heartbreaking, I wish you the best. We will all think of you during these hard times :(.

What was the video about? Did you report it to Youtube? It is down at the moment.

Wow, I didn't know Sonic Xtreme was playable right on the floor. For some reason I was thinking it was a closed doors sort of deal. And was that the extent of the demo? A square room where you collect rings?

I thought that was fairly known stuff.
Basically, they had a demo using the Boss Engine at E3. I'm pretty sure the plan was to have the boss battle with Nack The Weasel playable, but they found a bug or something and just put this "placeholder". It's just a stage with a diamond that looks much like those Time Stones from Sonic CD and rings flowing around it. So, nothing exciting really.

Is there any way to get this to work on DOS 6.22?
