Has anyone ever attempted hacking Saturn games, I know there's a hack that replaces Sonic 3D's Saturn music with the Mega Drive one, but that's because the game uses regular audio for the music. I'm thinking about replacing the music of Shin Shinobi Den with the music from Shinobi X, they both use the same type of files for sound, but besides trial and error, is there any other way to see how they would work? -

I have Windows 8 installed on my Notebook (came with Windows 7 originally).
It works perfectly; despite the store saying that the game needs a touch screen and will not work with a mouse or keyboard, it works just fine. The game seems to display at my resolution (that would be 1366x768), so it probably adapts it based on the screen.
It also runs surprisingly well, btw. My notebook is from ~2010 with an integrated Intel mobile 4 chipset. I was not expecting it to run AT ALL. -

I pretty much know nothing about the Sega Saturn (besides the fact that it's a pita to emulate), so excuse my slightly noobish question here:
Since Sonic 3D uses Redbook audio on the Saturn, does that mean that it could be replaced with the Mega Drive soundtrack, if converted and looped properly? If so, are there any guide for this kind of thing?
EDIT:oh hey, it turns out I should learn to Google better, such a thing already exists. Sweet. -

TimmiT, on 16 November 2014 - 02:41 PM, said:I'm not sure how you could have that expectation of a CG TV show. Even on the same budget, they wouldn't be able to do as much seeing how for the TV show they need to animate about 572 minutes of stuff, while for Sonic Unleashed probably not more than 10-15 minutes.
Not expectation, just a wish. Wouldn't we all want that to happen, after all? One other wish I had before this launched was for it to have the writing on par with Ian Flynn's. I feel like he's the only one who understands how Sonic should be done nowadays. In fact, this one I was kind of expecting, seeing how this isn't from SoJ. -

Just watched this week's episodes and my god, Sticks needs to die. I've never seen a character as annoying as her and I watch/read/play a lot of shit. I also kinda wish the action would be done as well as the opening cinematic of Sonic Unleashed. That aside, the Episode 3 was pretty good, Episode 4 is my least favorite so far. Sticks might have something to do with this.
